Vintage Hopalong Cassidy Sweater-Blue-Excellent Condition.
The most popular style of Hoppy sweaters, this v-neck pullover was manufactured by Barclay and when new, came with a sticker that had a head shot of Hoppy and the name Barclay on it.  It also, when new, had a neck tag that must have been paper as I have never seen a sweater that had been worn that still had the neck tag attached.  This sweater came in blue, brown, tan and grey.  This is the blue style.
The sweater is in remarkable shape for its age.  It has the normal piling that would have happened when machine washed but I can find no snags, catches or broken weave in the knit.  Outside of the piling, this sweater seems flawless.  Please, look at the photos and enlarge them as I have tried to show you the true condition of this great collectible piece.  I took them outside so you can see what a nice shade of blue the sweater is.

Chest 16 1/2" across
Sleeve length (under arm) 16 1/2 "
Back nape of neck to bottom hem 19 1/2"
With Hoppy on the front and his horse, Topper, on the back, this is a great find for anyone who collects Hoppy items.
